Movies You Might Have Missed

Now I am no movie expert nor am I a movie critic I just know what I like. And these four movies I really liked. For obvious reasons I can't go into great detail without giving away the ending so I will describe why I liked the movie Rather then What it is about.
So first up "Shoot Em Up" starring Clive Owen,Paul Giamatti and the lovely Monica Bellucci. Clive Owen plays a man called Smith yes just Smith. His character reminds me of Freddy Krueger from Nightmare On Elm Street. Why you ask. Because he can be very bad while being very funny. Not your typical good guy but you find yourself routing for him to the very end. His skill with weapons is like a cross between Bruce Lee and MaGuyver. The villain in this movie Paul Giamatti is like a cross between Elmer Fud and the Coyote trying to catch the road runner. Only this villain could not catch a cold but will have you laughing till it hurts. The Lovely Monica Bellucci plays a hooker who likes to treat men like little babies. And lets face it with a beautiful woman we are babies only she takes it to the extreme. I will let your mind run with that one. So if you like non stop action and side splitting fun then give this film a shot pun intended.


Next I would like to mention "While She Was Out" starring Kim Basinger. Kim plays a wife of a abusive jerk who physically and verbally attacks her from the minute he walks through the door. Kim is Della who tries her best to please her man while raising the two kids and keeping up their home. It's Christmas Eve and the jerk sends Della out on some errands. What happens to Della next changes her life forever and those around her. Kim Basinger gives her best performance I have ever seen in all her films. Della is about to take the world by the balls and squeeze. And the ending will have you jumping off your couch cheering for poor Della.


Here I present to you "The Last Legion" starring Colin Firth, Ben KIngsley and the extraordinary beauty Aishwarya Rai. For you men out there Aishwarya Rai is worth watching this film alone her beauty is breath taking. This film starts at the fall of the great Roman Empire. Barbarians are at the gates and a child sits on the throne. The adventure that follows will have you riveted to your seat. Great fight scenes and non stop action had me watching this film over and over. This film gives you a whole new perspective on the Roman Empire and what brought it to it's knees. The ending will surprise you in a good way.


Okay I have saved the best for last "ZombieLand" starring Emma Stone,Woody Harrelson,Jesse Eisenberg and Abigail Breslin. Now I know you horror movie haters are going to say no way. Well that's too bad for you cause your going to miss out on all the fun. Lets face it the world is over and your about to be on the menu. So why not have a little fun before you die? This movie takes Shaun Of The Dead and kicks it's ever loving ass up and down the street. This film is as funny as Night Of The Living Dead was terrifying. The acting in most horror movies I admit sucks and not in a good way either. Zombieland however gives four performances that deserve Oscar nods. You heard me right the acting is outstanding and Woody I use to hate your acting but brother hats off in this movie. Emma your acting matches your looks smoking hot. Finally A horror film With a plot and great acting. The perfect storm end of the world flesh eating zombies hot chick and a story played out by great actors. Thank you Hollywood but what the hell took so long? Trust me you will never look at horror movies the same way after watching this film. As Woody's character Tallahassee would say it's Time To Nut Up or Shut Up!

Imaginary Women Who Inspire Me

First up is Selene the Death Dealer (aka Kate Beckinsale) from Underworld. There is something about vampires that is just so sexy and when you put them in tight leather well my blood boils. I would not fight if she tried to bite me not that it would do any good. Dieing in her arms would not be a terrible fate in my mind. At first glance Selene takes your breath away and by the second your heart.


Next we have Rachel a single mother (aka Naomi Watts) who inspires many men to want to settle down and stay home every night. Something about a women who can portray strength and weakness at the same time that makes me weak in the knees. In the Ring Rachel faces an evil so horrifying it kills with a stare. But Rachel's courage in the face of this evil is just as sexy as her slender body.


Here we have a special woman Wichita (aka Emma Stone) from ZombieLand. Now any woman who can survive a zombie apocalypse and still look smoking hot is awesome! Wichita kills zombies outwits men and looks after her little sister while looking good enough to eat. I love zombie movies but I think I love Wichita even more.


Now here we have Eden Sinclair (aka Rhona Mitra) from Doomsday. Now if this is what the end of the world looks like then bring it on! If your going to survive the end of the world you need a partner who is smart and kicks ass. But you also need a reason to go on and Eden provides that with her extraordinary beauty. Sorry Mr. President I know that is your word. Eden her name alone provokes thoughts of paradise and being with her would be just that paradise.


Let me introduce you to Kate (aka Evangeline Lilly) from the hit series LOST. When I saw Kate half naked washing off in the surf I said holy shit! Yes she is that hot and makes Hawaii look even better if that is possible. Kate makes my heart melt every time I see her. I want her so bad my loins ache. Now the show Kate is on really makes me angry. No plot that I can make sense of but every week I watch just to see Kate one more time.


Next we have Rose (aka Radha Mitchell) from the horror flick Silent Hill. Something about a mothers love touches me with Rose. I find myself wanting to hold her close and whisper everything will be OK. I know from the movie that it won't be ok but I just want to take care of her. I want to wake in the morning seeing her snuggled next to me in bed. In the movie Silent Hill Rose has a courage most of us will never know and a beauty few can match.


Here I present to you Abigail (aka Jessica Biel) from Blade Trinity. Abigail is a rare combination of unbridled fury and unquestionable beauty. Abigail wastes evil vampires like I waste time. Abigail's choice of weapon is so cool a bow which by the way is my Zodiac sign the archer. Abigail's moves are as graceful as they are deadly. If your a vampire and you see Abigail you might want to start running in the opposite direction.


This brings me to my last inspiration Liz (aka Selma Blair) from Hell boy and Hell Boy 2. I admire any woman that can summon fire at will. A woman who risks life and limb to save mankind. A woman who won't take shit from anyone and has a strong sense of loyalty to her friends. Now that being said I would like to reach out to the actress that plays Liz in Hell Boy. Selma I think you are a Goddess and I worship the ground you walk on. Your beauty has no equal and I love you with all my heart. If you can find it in your heart would you do me the honor of marrying me? I wrote our wedding vows in a earlier post titled ENDLESS. Please find it in your heart to say yes. I feel you are my soul mate and I am lost without you.
